Southwest Metropolitan Water & Sanitation has contracted with Levi Contractors to replace the water main in W. Walden Ave. between S. Independence Way and S. Hoyt Court. This relatively short segment of pipe has experienced four failures, with the most recent one in 2019. Click here to view map. This project is part of an on-going effort to update the Southwest Metro’s aging infrastructure and improve the reliability of water distribution.
The project involves the installation of 400-feet of 12” PVC pipe. Construction will start on Monday, May 4th. This project is expected to be substantially completed in three weeks from the start date.
