Southwest Metro Water and Sanitation has contracted with Diamond Contracting Corp. to replace the sanitary sewer main in W. Hinsdale Pl. between 9285 W. Hinsdale Pl. and 9205 W. Hinsdale Pl.
An inspection of this section of sewer main showed dips and heaving, which may lead to possible sewer issues for residents; therefore, this section needs to be replaced.
- Construction on the sewer main in Hinsdale Pl. will start the week of May 13, 2024.
- The contractor will begin mobilization on May 10th.
- Working hours will be from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
- W. Hinsdale Pl. between S. Independence St. and W. Indore Dr. will be closed to local traffic only during working hours.
- Unforeseen circumstances can arise during construction which may affect the tentative schedule.
Water supply to affected residents will NOT be interrupted throughout the entirety of this project, but please try to minimize water usage at your property between 8:00am and 4:30pm daily during the project.
- Affected residents include 9285, 9275, 9255, 9245, 9235, 9225, 9205, 9284, 9274, 9254, 9244, 9234, and 9204 W. HINSDALE PLACE.
The district intends to complete this project in a timely manner to minimize the inconvenience to you and other district residents.
