How to Get Paid for Saving Water
The Denver Water Department has announced a Conservation Rebate Incentive Program for Southwest Metropolitan Water and Sanitation District customers who replace water guzzling fixtures and equipment with water efficient models. This program offers cash rebates for purchasing and installing high efficiency or low flow toilets and certain types of irrigation equipment. Only those items purchased January through December of the current year, with an accompanying original sales receipt, will be eligible for the rebate program.
The program offers rebates for the following items:
WaterSense-labeled toilets; an average of 1.1 gallons per flush or less (up to $100 rebate).
Rotary/high-efficiency sprinkler nozzles (up to $3 rebate per sprinkler head).
WaterSense-labeled smart irrigation controller (up to a $75 rebate).
Please check Denver Water’s Residential Rebate page for the current rebate amounts available.
Southwest Metropolitan Water and Sanitation District customers are encouraged to take advantage of this money-saving opportunity. The rebate program not only allows you to save money on equipment purchases but will reward you with lower water bills in the future.
