Quinn and Cocozzella Celebrate 18 & 5 years!

Alyssa Quinn has been an employee at Platte Canyon since January of 2000. When Alyssa first started she was a filing clerk and database administrator. She worked at the front desk as secretary/receptionist in 2004 where she wore many hats. Her title now is Business Programs Specialists which include customer service activities, administration of the District’s extensive computerized asset management system and GIS systems, and providing administrative support to the manager and construction coordinator.

She also serves as the District representative to the Rocky Mountain Section of the American Water Works Association Conservation Committee, is the Chairperson for the Distributor Conservation Committee, is a Board member for the Colorado WaterWise organizations and is a member of the management team. Alyssa is also responsible for running the District’s HOA Outreach Program.

Thank you for your outstanding work at the District for all these years and congratulations on 18 years with Platte Canyon!

Tony Cocozzella is Platte Canyon’s Project Coordinator. Tony began working for Platte Canyon in April 2014 after retiring from Denver Water with 39 years of service!

In the position of project coordinator Tony is responsible for review of all water and wastewater facility construction plans for Platte Canyon, Southwest Metropolitan, Bow Mar and Columbine Water and Sanitation Districts and Valley Sanitation District. In addition to “in house” review, Tony coordinates review of construction plans with other organizations such as Denver Water, the Cities of Littleton and Englewood, Jefferson, Arapahoe and Douglas Counties.  Once a project moves to construction, Tony oversees facility installation, testing and documentation.

Here at Platte Canyon, we feel very lucky to have Tony on board. Congratulations on 5 years at the District, Tony!
