Each year the District updates it 10-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) to prioritize the replacement of water and sewer mains. At the June meeting of the District Board of Directors, the Board awarded a water main replacement contract to Levi Construction in the amount of $313,423.00. The Holland Street Project will start Monday, September 16th. Contractors will start road prepping Friday, September 13th. This project will replace 272 feet of 6” PVC pipe in S. Holland Street between W. Laurel Place and the end of the cul-de-sac.
The Garland Street Project will start later this fall. This project will replace 701 feet of 12” PVC pipe in S. Garland Street between W. Walden Avenue and W. Nova Place.
The District is planning to schedule Informational Pop-Up events for each project and these events will be held in the subdivisions that may be affected by the construction. As soon as the event dates are scheduled, more information will be posted on our website, Facebook page, and Nextdoor.
