Denver Metro Water Festival

Can you believe it is that time of year again? The Denver Metro Water Festival is being held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Red Rocks Community College. The water festival is designed to provide balanced water-related education to sixth graders in Denver Water’s extended service area (link to service area map). The festival presents a unique opportunity for water professionals from around Colorado to offer engaging, hands-on lessons and activities to help students appreciate the value of water, provide the tools students need to treat water as a precious resource, and take an active role in water conservation.

The Festival will host approximately 1300 students. Selections are made on a first-come, first-served, space available basis. The following schools will be attending this year:

Goddard Middle School

Colorow Elementary (SW Metro District)

Mount Carbon Elementary

Deer Creek Elementary (SW Metro District)

Carmody Middle School
