New Website Coming and DIY Lawn Conversion Guide Available

New District Websites Coming This Summer

The district is partnering with Streamline to launch a new, accessible, reliable, and secure website designed to better serve our community. As part of this transition, the district will convert to a government-issued .gov domain, providing added security, authenticity, and trust for customers.

Since HB21-1110 – Colorado Laws for Persons with Disabilities – went into effect in July 2024, the district has been committed to improving website accessibility. The new site, built on Streamline’s accessible platform, will ensure full compliance with HB21-1110.

The new website will feature improved navigation, a mobile-friendly design, and easy access to documents, forms, and board information. This upgrade supports the district’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and enhanced digital services.

More details about the new website launch, including the updated web address and timeline, will be shared in the June edition of the quarterly newsletter.

DYI Lawn Conversion Guide

The Denver Board of Water Commissioners declared Stage 1 Drought and implemented mandatory watering restrictions seeking a 20% reduction in water use.

Live Like You Love It®, a program of Colorado WaterWise, has released a new DIY Lawn Conversion Guide now available to district customers. With drought restrictions in place and statewide snowpack at record lows, it’s an ideal time to transition your lawn to a water-wise landscape using drought-tolerant native plants and grasses.
