  • Cynthia Lane

    Cynthia joined Southwest Metropolitan in 2017 as the District Assistant Manager and was appointed District Manager in June 2021. She is a registered Professional Engineer (MD #25152) and is currently a member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation.

  • Alyssa Quinn

    Alyssa joined Southwest Metropolitan in January 2000 and was appointed District Assistant Manager in June 2021. She serves as the Chairperson for the Distributor Conservation Committee, is a Board member for the Colorado WaterWise and is a member of the American Water Works Association and the Rocky Mountain Governmental Purchasing Association.

  • Vanessa Shipley

    Vanessa was hired as financial administrator for Southwest Metropolitan in July 2003. Vanessa is a licensed certified public accountant and is a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association.

  • Tony Cocozzella

    Tony was hired for the position of project coordinator in 2014. Tony is responsible for review of all water and wastewater facility construction plans. He is an active member of the American Water Works Association and a board member for Colorado 811.

  • Adam Morse

    Adam was hired at Southwest Metropolitan in July of 2016 as the GIS/Website/IT Technician. Adam’s duties include assisting in mapping and construction inspection documentation duties and managing the Districts’ computer systems.

  • Bridget Butterfield

    Bridget joined Southwest Metropolitan in April 2019 to serve as the Communication & Administrative Services Coordinator. She is the main point of contact for all communications, customer service activities and social media accounts. Bridget is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America and serves on the Colorado WaterWise Newsletter Committee.

  • Scott Hand

    Scott has been employed by Southwest Metropolitan since 1980. He has obtained the highest levels of certification for water distribution system and wastewater collection system operations offered by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board. Scott is currently a member of the American Water Works Association, American Public Works Association, Water Environment Federation, and the National Fire Protection Agency.

  • Armando Quintana

    Armando joined Southwest Metropolitan in August of 1999 and was appointed operations foreman in December 2005. Armando has achieved level IV wastewater collection system and level III water distribution system certification through the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board.

  • Bruce Yarish

    Bruce began working for Southwest Metropolitan in 1984. He is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a level II water distribution system operator and as a level III wastewater collection system operator.

  • John Mathias

    John has been employed by Southwest Metropolitan as a water distribution and wastewater collection system operator since February 2006. He is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a level IV water distribution system operator and as a level IV wastewater collection system operator.

  • Mike Chavez

    Mike has been employed at Southwest Metropolitan as a water distribution and wastewater collection system operator since 2013. Mike is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a level IV water distribution system operator and a level IV wastewater collection system operator.

  • Justin Roquemore

    Justin joined Southwest Metropolitan in April 2008. He is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a level III water distribution system operator and as a level IV wastewater collection system operator.

  • Ben Dorak

    Ben joined Southwest Metro as a water distribution and wastewater collection system operator in March 2020. He is currently working to obtain his water and wastewater operator certifications.

  • Derek Robinson

    Derek joined Southwest Metro as a water distribution and wastewater collection system operator in October 2022. He is certified by the Colorado Water and Wastewater Operations Certification Board as a level I water distribution system operator and a level I wastewater collection system operator.
