There are two capital water projects underway and one sewer project scheduled for 2025.
Water Replacement Details
S. Cody Way – This project will replace 1,257 feet of 8″ asbestos cement pipe with 8-inch PVC pipe in S. Cody Way from W. Peakview Dr. to S. Dover Way.
S. Everett Way – This project will replace 911 feet of 6″ asbestos cement pipe with 6″ PVC pipe in S. Everett Way from W. Peakview Dr. to S. Estes St.
- The anticipated working hours for the projects are Monday through Friday, 7 am – 7 pm.
- District staff, its consultant, and its construction contractor will work closely with the residents and regulatory agencies to minimize disruptions to traffic and the environment.
- Water service may be interrupted when the new water mains are connected to the existing mains, however, this will be limited to a few hours at a time.
- Residents will be notified at least 24 hours in advance before service is interrupted.
- Emergency shutoffs may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
- If requested, the District can supply bottled drinking water to impacted customers during scheduled outages.
Sewer Main Project Details
This project involves upsizing 2,103 feet of 33″ pipe to 36″ pipe in the open space east of the South Platte River and west of Aspen Grove.
Bid documents are currently being advertised through Bid Net and available to interested bidders. The bid opening is set for 10:00am, August 5th at the district office.
